The Realm Of Insani-tea is an inclusive land, filled with creatures of all shapes and sizes. of all beliefs and ways of life. This is a fantastic thing, it brings brightness to our world. However, with so many different people with unique thoughts and feelings, such differences can cause issues. Sometimes even bring war.

Core Entities, Beliefs &World Factions

Core

This faction is home to inhabitants who are either fully neutral OR believe in multiple entities. They solely serve the Realm and its people, following orders from Her Royal Highness and her Tea Party. 60% of the Realm belong to this order, it is the ’default’ for most. The Order worship The Mantea Tree as though it was a deity itself and often have special festivals to celebrate its existence. High ranking members from this faction are invited to the ‘Tea Party’, Her Majesty's personal guard. This faction is joinable through a test of dedication.

 

It is possible to leave this faction for another if beliefs change drastically or if a creature is seduced/enslaved.

Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth.

Though each has their own unique beliefs (based off of their name), they all agree that chaos and destruction are the keys to maintaining control, and that rules are for weaklings who have no power over their kingdoms. Once every 2 years the Overlords partake in a grand bloody trial to decide which ‘God’ under the Dreusni will be The Mistress/Master. The Mistress/Master is the collective voice for the 7 Overlords and the one who visits The Elder Mantea Tree. Dreusni Overlords do not have a sex or gender, they may be called either ‘They’, ‘She’ OR ‘He’. Those who enter this faction may only work under the influence of their Overlords, you may not be a Dreusni Overlord.

 

This faction is joinable through a test of dedication. It is only possible to leave this faction if a creature is seduced/enslaved, or through falling in love with a creature who follows The Faithful Union.

Faithful Union

Beauty, Charity, Justice, Love, Purity, Patience and Diligence.

Though each has their own unique beliefs (based off of their name), they all agree that order and justice are the keys to maintaining control, and that laws are crucial in keeping their kingdoms safe. Once every 2 years the Faithful Union partake in a grand debate to decide which ‘God’ will be The Wordmaster. The Wordmaster is the collective voice for the 7 Gods under the Faithful Union and the one who visits The Elder Mantea Tree. These entities do not have a sex or gender, they may be called either ‘They’, ‘She’ OR ‘He’. Those who enter this faction may only work under the influence of their Angels, you may not be a High Angel.

 

This faction is joinable through a test of dedication. It is only possible to leave this faction if a creature is seduced/enslaved, or through falling in love with a creature who follows The Overlords.

This faction is home to those who do not wish to follow any of the other factions, they believe that the Mantea Ritual is wrong and unnecessary. In their eyes creatures who use the ritual have lost all sense of themselves and are blindly following the wishes of a ‘Sin’del’ (Their word for ‘Fake Leader’). They wander the Realm known for preferring a ‘primal’ living, with no other purpose than to survive and perhaps find a mate some day. Due to their refusal of the Mantea Ritual they’re extremely limited in their use of Mantea, meaning that Lost One Mages do not exist. The lack of mantea makes them very hard to trace. Some have managed to learn through watching others how to draw the trees power for the use of enchantments and buffs, but none have managed to master spells Those who use enchantments and buffs are often sectioned off from the rest of the faction, due to the embedded belief that Mantea is pure poison. Due to the refusal of the mantea ritual, the lost ones have complete freedom in the life they can choose, so many different types of camps that can be joined.

 

This faction can be joined through a gruesome ‘cleansing’ ritual, by being born into the faction or not taking part in the ceremony. It is possible to leave this faction for another if beliefs change drastically or if a creature is seduced/enslaved.

The Lost Ones

The Lost Ones

The Found Ones were the polar opposite of The Lost Ones, they believed that The Elder Mantea tree was the true god, and that with its power they could become pure perfection. Unfortunately their lust for becoming something greater was inevitably their undoing. See Race: Underling for more information.

This faction is disbanded, it cannot be joined.

The Found Ones

With only one Elder left, this faction is soon to be extinct. Mantea Elders have a unique connection to The Elder Mantea Tree, a connection which no other has been able to mimic, be they immortal or not. They have the ability to tap into the tree and absorb unlimited amounts of its power without their mind or soul being corrupted and can even shut it down completely as they did during the great truce. They’re such a dedicated faction that they produced their own race  through constant researching and worshipping of the great organism, their skin over time became the same colour as its leaves and their minds attuned to the waves in the soil. There are rumors around the realm that a new party of Elders could be born through the crushed leaves given to children. 

It is unknown whether this faction can be joined. It is impossible to leave this faction.

A collection of only the most talented Mages of The Realm. Focusing on continuously improving their talents, this faction is extremely determined and powerful. With elves making up 90% of their population, they’re spread across The Realm like a pleasant plague thanks to their ability to wield mantea infused transportation.

Known to common folk as ‘Assassins’, the Blood Pact are a group of very dangerous creatures. Some are trained from birth, some offer their lives to the leader in hopes of being initiated. None move as silently as the Blood Pact and yet somehow, they do it without the help of Mantea. No one knows who the leader is unless they are high up within the blood pact or have a connection with the leader. Not much is known publicly about this faction.

The most talented healers in The Realm. This devoted religious group have offered their souls to the Angels, if they’re not tending to wounded inhabitants then they are praying to their leaders in beautifully crafted temples.
